Meet Dr. Daniel Emmett
Dr. Daniel Emmett graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Emmett spent two years conducting research in the field of hepatology and results of his work have been presented at both national and international meetings. His publications have earned him awards from the American Liver Foundation and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Emmett returned to Austin to join Austin Gastroenterology in February 2009.
