Meet Kellie Reyna
Kellie Reyna is a physician assistant working in the hospital setting assisting our Central physicians at St. David's Medical Center and Heart Hospital of Austin. She was with Austin Gastro from 2009 through 2018 working in a similar capacity, and left Austin to work in Liver Transplant and Hepatology with the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. While there, Kellie worked with patients with a variety of acute and chronic liver conditions and pre and post liver transplant patients. Kellie returned to Texas in 2019 to work at UT Health in San Antonio with the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She worked with the Advanced Endoscopy (AE) Faculty and the Advanced Fellows at University Hospital focusing on patients with various hepatobililary and post liver transplant conditions requiring endoscopic intervention. Kellie returned to Austin and spent time at Austin Gastro and Baylor Scott & White from 2020 through 2024 in Gastroenterology and Abdominal Transplant (comprised of Renal Transplant and Surgical Oncology).
She enjoys reading, shopping, spending time with friends and family and staying current with latest research in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She has associate memberships with the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD). She has a Masters of Physicians Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
