Meet Tatiana, PA-C, RD
Tatiana Hickenbottom is a native Texan who joined Austin Gastroenterology in 2020. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. After six years of practicing as a Clinical Dietitian, she attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where she obtained her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Tatiana has 10 years of patient-care experience in various clinical settings throughout the Austin area hospitals and clinics with a special focus in gastroenterology. Her passion for GI arises from a genuine interest in understanding and improving the digestive health of her patients; and finding fulfillment in aiding others on their journey to well-being. Tatiana is very passionate about teaching and providing high-quality care with personalized treatment plans, to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients.
She is Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and trying new restaurants in the Austin area. She grew up dancing ballet, and she continues to enjoy various types of dance including salsa.
